October 2, the 8th grade students will load onto a bus and travel to Aurora, Illinois for a service trip. They will learn about starvation around the world and pack manna food boxes that will be sent to aid organizations around the world. This is just one opportunity for service learning the 8th grade class will have this year as they prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation. The entire school will raise funds for this charity come Lent and the 8th grade students will lead this drive for charitable giving by teaching about child starvation and rallying the school to raise funds. Please pray for our students as they embark on this exciting endeavor and work to think of others and follow the example of Jesus.
